    Prostate?
What does it mean if a guy gets a shooting pain in his anus when he ejaculates? I've reassured my friend that it's probably just a reaction in her boyfriend's prostate but I thought someone on here may be able to shed some more light on it!

    Hi,
I wouldn't want to guess at this.
A Doctor is the one to see about it; find out what's causing it. Could be serious, hopefully not.
    Best of luck.

I would agree... get a doctor to check it out... it could ne a hemoroid or even a boil just inside the anus... I've had that happen once... definately freaky.

Pain is definitely not normal, have it checked out by a professional.

There is a possibility that you may have an enlarged prostate which needs to be checked.
I have a shooting pain in the same area during the same moment, I also have an enlarged prostate ready for reduction.
There is a link with both: I have a pile too which occures through the general unwell being of the situation.
