    What state do you live in? It depends my mother is in a rural area and it is quite costly.. I live in the city and with different programs I have paid as little as 13 dollars.

    Males are cheaper than females. Females are also more expensive if they catch them in heat.

    If you're looking for a cheaper route, I would call the county shelter or any other private shelters in the area, and see what programs they may have or know of. Keep in mind these shelters do not want the extra kittens! :-) Around here you can get them done for as little as $15 through these programs. Though a female at the vet's can be $80 and I live in a cheaper area.
