    Before I can evict I need to give adequate notice
    Hello all

    And this month my tenant has decided to put the rent money in a savings account, not my account, until the dryer is fixed, he cannot do this legally. We have gone back and forth about many things and I am tired of trying to make this man happy as he never will be.

    Before you file suit to evict, you must first serve the tenant with adequate notice.
    From Florida Landlord Tenant Law

    I also searched broward county court site and made the calls and spoke with more than one person over there.

    Their best advice was to make sure that it is legal notice from a law library or it won't hold up in court, but they couldn't tell me any more than that. I know that I have to send it certified mail.

    So my question is, where can I find this legal notice from a law library "form" that is the step before the eviction process, forms and fees?
