    Gas furnace prob: only 1/2 of the vents work
    I have a York gas forced air furnace. The air comes out of the vents in lower floor of the house just fine. However, all the vents upstairs, you can barely feel any air coming out. I would appreciate any advice.

    Check your duct work to see if there may be a disconnected duct between the unit and your outlets or may be something restricting air flow.

I have an Inter-City furnace and I installed an electronic thermostat. The furnace pilot will ignite, but when I turn the gas valve from pilot to (on) and turn the thermostat to ( heat), the furnace doesn't come on.
