    A Beginner Drum Set
Okay, so I've started drum lessons and my drum teacher is teaching me drum beats. The only problem is I don't have a drum set yet. I was looking to go Pearl. But the problem is, there are seven different series. So I'm looking for a series that is:
    1) Good for beginners
    2)Good Quality
3)Reasonable Price (Like on a shoestring budget :P)

Does anyone have any suggestions on which series of Pearl to start looking at. Here's the list of series:

    1) Masterworks
    2) Reference Series
    3) Masters Premium Series
    4) Masters Custom Series
    5) Vision Series
    6) Forum FZ Series
    7) Rhythm Traveler Series

Thanks to anyone who helps answer this question.

If you are in school, what grade are you in, please? Also, what is your present instructor teaching you? Is it about playing a set, or only the snare drum? If you are in school, do you play in the band at the school?

I can help you with this, but it would help to have some additional information from you. I have been playing in concert bands for most of my life. I have also directed concert bands when teaching band in school.

Depending on the type of music you will be playing will greatly influence the type of drum set that you might purchase.
