    Tow Truck
Well I went to 24/7 grocery store. We have been getting a fair amount of snow, and blowing snow. There were two vehicles cleaning the parking lot. Well I was only going to be 5 minutes or so. The front of the store was plowed so I parked there in order to not get in there way cleaning up the parking lot. When I came out, this is by the way 2:00 am in the morning. The guy in the vehicle opened up this door and said is that your Car. I am like Yes. He is like well. The tow truck is on its way to pick up your car. I am thinking what arsehole. Here I am staying out of the way so they can continue their job and he calls the tow truck on me.

    Who was in the wrong??
Oh plus this is sort of just a rant of the day experience thing. Comments??
Any experiances with tow truck drivers??

To me, it would depend on whether the area you parked was a tow-away zone.

If it was posted as such, then to the tow-truck driver it may have looked as though you were just being lazy, not wanting to walk through the snow, etc, and parking someplace it was clearly posted you shouldn't be parking.

I realize your intentions were good, but I'm sure the tow-truck driver has seen too many cases where it was just someone trying to get away with parking in a fire lane or something.

Thank you Synnen, I was not trying to be lazy at all, but your right they probably see many cases like that. Thank you for your post.

I think he may have just wanted to get you "riled up"
It makes no sense to me to call a tow truck at 2: am in the middle of a snow storm with snow plows right there
    A. My common sense would be maybe the plow trucks had him blocked in
    B. Maybe he got stuck in the snow right there and is in the store asking for help to get a push, maybe I can help?
    C. Maybe he ran in to buy a pack of cigarettes or a quick item and is coming run RIGHT BACK out.
    D. My common sense would tell me to go in and ask before going to the trouble of calling tow truck
    E. What was his problem? He had his spot and was going into the store so why should he make an issue under the conditions!

    F. I bet your common sense was keeping the word IDIOT under your breath :D

    G. My common sense would tell me he will be long gone before a tow truck makes it here.

    H. THAT IS WHY they call it a convenience store! YOU ARE IN YOU ARE OUT
