    HCG and Progesterone?
    1st of I'd like to say I am or we are finally pregnant :) :) :) . It's been a pretty tough road no knowing if we'd ever get here. I've posted here before asking about Clomid and on my second try using it, we finally got pregnant. Looks like I am in my 5th week.

    When I found out we were pregnant our fertility center wanted us to use progesterone suppositories because we were told my level was just a tad low at 21.8 and they would like to see that up 25. Has anyone ever used these? What levels where you told to have?

    Today I went for more blood work they told me my HCG levels were double at 700 which was good indicating all is going along well.

    My question to you folks are what do each of the levels mean? Are they related in someway? From the online searching I've done it appears they tied together. Are my levels OK? Thanks in advance for any info, comments or feedback. Everyone have a great day! :)

Dropping progesterone level [ 1 Answers ]

I took clomid to get pregnant. I am now 6 weeks and 4 days. At approx. 4 weeks I had a progesterone level and it was 42 ng/mL. At 5 weeks and 3 days the progesterone level was repeated and was 33 ng/mL. I am worried about miscarriage. I know it is still within normal levels for 1st trimester...

I am 6 weeks pregnanct and have been spotting a week or so. My dr said my progesterone levels were very low. (3.6 and should be 25) I was put on prometrium and I was wondering if at the low level I am at would it turn things around? HAs anyone else had to do this?
