Why is my lip so damaged?
I wake up in the morning, take a shower, go to my car to start my day, look in the mirror, and WOW! There is white dead skin all around my lips. I am so sick of looking at this every day. Okay, so I rub all of the peeling off and notice there is a spot on the lower bottom lip that is easily noticeable. It looks like a old skin, or burnt skin from the sun. I think I had a blister a long time ago and kept peeling off the scab over and over again, so I may be a scar on my lip.. HELP ME SOMEONE , GOD help me!

Do you use lip balm or chapstick?

    Also, stop peeling.

Isneezefunny is right. Do not peel your lip. Try Vaseline; put it on before you go to bed and at work or school.

You probably sleep with your mouth open and it dries your lips out. Or maybe you have a fan that blows on you all night long? You also are probably dehydrated.

Drink more water, stop peeling and use some sort of lip balm. Vasoline works great, but it's really greasy; I prefer to use it only at night. Load up on it at night, though, it's got to last! Blistex makes some great products to soothe damaged lips as well.

Try using a lip balm or lip moisturizer containing ingredients such as Vitamin E or lanolin. It will help soften and heal rough, cracked lips, and give them a healthy look.
