    F1 to H1 in 2007 what status do I file in
    I was on OPT till OCT 2007 and obtained an H1-B in the same period.
    What status should I be filing taxes under, an nonresident or a resident alien.

    File Form 1040NR for the full year. You can elect to file as dual status, but your tax return would be complicated and you likely would not reduce your U.S. tax (unless you were married at year end).
