    Gas heating
    Hi,
I've moved recently to my new home,of which I am very happy in.
The problem that I have got is,that my new home has a living gas fire in the lounge, which is beautiful, but is so expensive to run, that I would love to know how I can convert it into a focal point in my home,as it can't be used as a feature unless the coals are glowing.
Is there any way that I could convert it to electric as I had in my old home,i.e. just the lovely glow, without the gas bills,as I already have adequate central heating.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Yours,
    Mary drummond

Disconnect gas logs and remove gas line. Buy electric log set and wire in. Dane deal and simple. BTW close off the vent to the chimny since this is a source of energy waste.
