    Qualifying for a dependent
I have been living with my boyfriend for over 6 years... this year I worked all year but made 7800.00 would I be able to be a dependent under him? Or what qualifies in order to become a dependent?

You CAN claim her as a dependent.

You will get her $3,400 personal exemption, and that's all.
