    Can anybody tell me how to remove shower tiles from a cement floor?

    Hammer and chisel them up, they should come up pretty easy once you get them started.

    So you are taling up a shower an floor, right? That probably is not a cement floor but a mortar shower pan liner so there may be some chunks coming out but Amricca is correct. I'd use a roatry hammer if you have one.

    Do you have a air compressor? An air chisel is fairly cheap and if you got any amount to do you will want it to go fairly fast.

    A mortar shower pan will take about 5 swings with a 16 lbs. sledge hammer. It is more sitting ON the floor than really attached to the floor.
