I have replaced the water valve and the module. Water dispensary works. The plastic lines are not plugged. The wire arm goes up and down. I poured water in the ice maker and in a few days there were ice in the pan. The model is #ksrf22dtal00. I crossed the connectors on the valve and the water dispensary doesn't work. Does it matter how the connectors are connected?

Are you saying that you crossed the electrical connections or the water lines?

Just for fun, how about check the water line where it empties into the ice tray. Is it frozen?

The water isn't frozen. If I take the plastic line off the rear of the refrigerator no water comes out of the line, but it comes out of the side of the water dispensary. Can you put the connectors on either side of the water valve?

If you have two outlets on the water valve one would be for the ice maker and one would be for the water dispenser. Try reversing.

I have tried that, but the ice maker still won't work. I took the plastic line off the back and know water comes out of the tube going to the ice maker.

Bare with me now. How do you know water comes out of the line going to the ice maker. It should only come out when the ice maker opens the water valve. Can you check the water line from where you disconnected it in the back to the ice maker itself,to insure that it is clear?

Is this the type of valve you have?

There's know water coming out of the tube to the ice maker. And it is clear. I took it off and blowed threw it. The ice maker isn't turning the valve on to let water up to the ice maker

Can the electrical connections be reversed? It appears that if either the water lines or the electrical conections are reversed that water would come out the dispenser when ever the ice maker, which is on a timer, calls for water and that water would come out the icemaker whenever the lever for the dispenser is pressed.

This water valve has two pumps. One for the ice maker and one for the water dispenser. How do I know what connectors go on which side of the pump? Should they be color coded with the pump hookup?

I take that you mean that the valve has two outlets and two electrical connections. The one in the pic has a red electrical connection and a green. I have no idea which is for ice and which for dispenser. It probably doesn't matter as long as the ice electrical and the ice hose tube are connected to the same one. Both sides of the valve look the same. Its just like having two separate valves. Check the instruction if you received any. But I really can't see how it could matter. If it does matter the electrical connection will probably not go on but one way. Press water dispenser for about 5 or 6 seconds and see if ice tray fills.

You did turn the water back on where you turned it off to change the water valve didn't you?
