Coleman evcon burner on and off
I have a 1993 coleman evcon furnace model BGD07512AX. When I get a call for heat my blower comes on right away. Then my hot surface ignitor gets red hot. Then my blower comes on for 3-5 seconds and shuts off. This happens 3 times then furnace locks out with a retry alarm. Can anyone help me?

You may just have a dirty flame sensor. It's a small metal rod that sets in front of the burners the flame hits it to prove you have a flame. Turn the power of to the furnace and scrape it with a knife to get it clean. Turn power back on and give it a try. Do not touch the hot surface ignitor( the glowing red part) it breaks very easy.
