    Transfer of Deed
I am going to have a deed transferred to me. I was wondering how that process works, how long does it take, and what other steps are involved in the process?

They sign a deed and give it to you, you record it at the court house and pay the recording fee.

Depends on who is transferring it, are you buying it, is there any loans

Is there going to be a title search done?

But it takes less than a hour to type up a deed ( actually less than 15 minutes if you have all the material) it takes about 15 minutes to record it?
