I have heard this story, the noodled one did name one of his appendages "michaelb" but that is not me for I am "michealb". The noodled one did this to sway you from the truth that is me.

Ahh, what kind of god are you Michael B? And your followers defend you. Ha ha ha.

Go ahead, you can talk the talk, but can you walk the walk?

SERIOUSLY, don't try it. I don't want you to hurt yourself. Your op is a joke.

MichaelB- I'm still waiting for my answer or are you looking it up on the internet and that's why it's taking so long to get back to me. I realize that as a supposed God you are extremely busy but this lowly servant is waiting for an answer. Can you hear my foot tapping?

Of course it's a joke. This is an exercise on how to disprove the negative. The point is that regardless of how outlandish the claim is you can't 100% disprove a negative claim. It gives Christians the chance to be on the other side of the debate of trying to disprove a god for a change. If we continue to debate back and forth on the same topic we won't get any where but if we change sides maybe some insight might be made.

You misspell my name I misspell yours. I'm god I'm can be vengeful. You never actually asked a question other than if I can hear your foot tapping. Though if you meant to ask me what your name means. There are many references to that name. Your family is from the four valleys area of Germany(Altenweg, Spriegelsbach, Schildwende and Jostal). Now known as Titisee, Germany. The literal translation to english though is "old way".

Sorry about the misspelling, but I'm not the one claiming to be God am I?;) I'm originally from Weikersheim, I was born in Rothenburg ob der Tauber (a very touristy town) which is only 1/2 hour away from where I lived. I moved to Canada when I was almost 4 years old. Altenweg is my married name, which is funny, my husband doesn't speak a work of german. It can also mean old path. Don't be vengeful, I'm still hoping to win the lottery, Please?:o

Way and path are similar. As god I can't prove it to you 100% I can only tell you why your reason that I'm not god is wrong. I have to leave you room for faith. I'm afraid the human form can't handle 100% truth of god limitation of being human, sorry.

Okay, okay, what about my lottery winnings, let's talk about that. I will agree to believe in you 75% for 2 million dollars in lotto winnings, the higher the winnings the larger the percent. Humans know how to negotiate.

    Sorry Altenweg,
You winning the lottery would change too much and affect the ultimate outcome. The world is like one large rube goldberg machine with an ultimate conclusion. I could give you the winnings but you wouldn't be you anymore because I would have to change a major component.

All along I have said that Atheism is a religion, with SELF being the deity. I think you have made my point.

And that's proof I'm not god how? I'm afraid I'm going to have to smite you for your non-belief. Smite.. smite.. smite how shall I smite thee? Hmm... ah I have it now. You won't know when you won't know what but some time something bad will happen and you will wonder why that it happened and then you will know that you have been smote.

Actually, this little exercise had been informative. Before these posts, I've had little opportunity to explore the Atheist mindset. Michealb has shown just how difficult is is to disprove his claim, and this with absoutely no proof of his claim. Actually, anyone making such a claim has the obligation to prove that claim, rather than others having to disprove it. Yaweh has proven His claim many times, and so as proved by Michealb, it is impossible for Atheists to prove that Yaweh is not The Almighty. Nice work!

Now as to the claim that Atheists have no religious beliefs, that is, as Mr. Spock would say, highly illogicial. I have seen that claim made in these posts, so let's examine it logically. If you say "I do not believe there is a god", that is a negative statement, and must be interpreted as, "I BELIEVE there is no god". A statement of your faith. But if you say you believe nothing, then your statement becomes, "I do not BELIEVE [there is no god]", a double negative that then becomes a positive BELIEF. And you thought you didn't have faith!

Ok Galveston, if that's what you want to believe about us that's perfectly OK. Doesn't matter to me in the slightest. Have a great day!

You're right, the question comes down to how much proof must an all powerful being give to be accepted as an all powerful being? The problem as I see it is the bigger your claim the bigger your evidence needs to be. I would have no problem believing in an all powerful being if I was provided with proof. Since the being is all powerful he should know exactly what would be required for me to accept that proof and if he really cared if I worshipped him, he would provide it. I just haven't seen anything that Yahweh has provided as proof that couldn't been faked or simply lied about.

Hey MB, how are things in Goddom today? I see you still have allot of people questioning your claim. I myself have decided to bow down to coffee today, oh coffee, great coffee, juice of alertness and full bladder. May you never stop brewing great coffee.

The Almighty has provided us a Book. Skeptics and Atheists have tried for centuries, if not millineia to prove that prophecies were written after the fact, but have never made a case for that. There is internal evidence that indicates when various parts were written. If you want to pursue this for your own benefit, there has been a large amount of work dedicated to that very purpose. (examination of internal evidence) The stakes are too high not to at least look at the evidence.
