    First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

    Generally, you connect the receiver to the deck and the deck to the TV. How you do it depends on the inputs and outputs available.

    If you have 2 inputs on TV, Connect combo to 1 input, DirectTV to another input, Select either input to choose. If Recording, Have Direct Receiver go Into Recorder?
    Is the Combo a DVD/VCR. Is VDD a Typo?

Hey I have 4 computers connect to the net using my router I was told to connect another computer I would have to direct connect with ethernet cable anyway I done that and I can share files trough network places but for some reason I cannot acess net on the 5th computer can anyone help me??
