    Whistling shower valve
When tub is running, no noise. When lever pulled up for shower--high-pitched whistling noise. What is the problem? Any ideas? House is only 2 yrs old. Thanks.

Remove shower head, see if you have noise? No noise, clean shower head. Noise with shower head removed probably means debrie in shower riser at valve. Most likely shower head.
