Hey,

We have been seeing each other for nearly 3yrs, Im at uni but finish in few months but she has worked in the city for most of this time so are used to not seeing each other. Ive always been q.bad with jealousy and it came to a head at Xmas when I got upset at her doing shots and getting on v.well with a bunch of her friends boyfriends. After that, she wanted a break until mid march (uni easter) to focus on her v.heavy workload and some professional exams coursework. She says she still loves me that there's a 90:10 chance of us staying together but she could just me lying. Also, we are currently booked on a weekend away at end of march which she seems v.excited about

We have been on this "break" for 3 weeks now and its killing me - Ive had good and bad days. Today is v.bad day because I txted her 3 times last night and rang her once this morning without response. But apart from these times Ive done well in not contacting her at all, which Im sure is the right thing to do... however, I can't keep doing it - Im so miserable, I'm not sleeping, I'm not hungry etc etc. I don't talk to my friends about this stuff because they are q.immature and recently, they have been irritating me which means I don't have many people to do stuff with and keep my mind of my g'friend. I definitely won't break up with her because I can't but I'm thinking about telling her that "I dont want to speak to her for at least a solid week because im thinking about breaking up". I was hoping this would give make her think about us and about losing me, because atm she is too busy working or having fun with her housemates for me to even enter her mind. Is this good idea??

Hun I totally understand what you are going through... I think her maturity level in the relationship is very low.. I personally think she loves you but she is scared of commitment... the way I look at.. it could be that she wants to see what the single life is all about.. a lot of people do that... don't get yourself all sick over it.. I have done that also... no one in this world is worth you getting sick over... what I would do myself.. is just not talk to her.. let her know you are there for her if she needs u... but let her find her way... I don't know your whole history together.. so I would just try a new hobbie... maybe meet some new people to chat with or hang out... I know it is hard when you feel like you have gotten the rotten end of the stick... been there many times... so just hang in there... because the old sain says... if you love something.. set it free... if it returns it was meant to be.. if not.. it wasn't... but try to hang in there :) because there my be a stranger out there that will comfort you in your time of need
