    Injury Question
    I Am Rather New Here, So I Will Try And Make This Short. I Started A New Job On Thurs. Down At The Docks Here In Long Beach. The Job Requires That You Slam 25-35 Lbs Trays Of Frozen Fish Blocks Onto A Steel Surface, Releasing The Fish.

    Ok So That Night When I Went Home After A 10hr Day My Whole Body Hurt, Including My Left Hand. I Went To Work The Next Day After Only Sleeping One Hour Through The Pain. During My Day At Work, I Still Noticed That My Left Hand Was Extremely Hard To Close, Tingly, And Also Throbing. After I Finished Work I Decided That There Could Be Something Wrong With My Left Hand Or Wrist. So Last Night I Thought I'd Get Through The Night And Wake Up With No Pain, But That Is Not The Case Today.

    The Employer I Am Working For Is Labor Ready, A Temp. Construction Co.
    I Guess What My Question Is - Should I Go See A Doctor And Has Anyone Else Seen Or Heard Of This Situation, And What Is The Proper Way In Handling It?

    I Know It Is More Than Being Sore, And I Am Pain Tolerant, And I Don't Think It Is A Broken Bone, But Can Anyone Give Me Advise?

    Yes, go see a doctor. That sounds like pretty rough work. It could be a hairline fracture.

    Yes, you should see a doctor, but again it may well be just from the hard work.

    It could be a number of things, a fracture, muscle tenderness, a pinched nerve, anything... Only a doctor can diagnose it properly. Most likely you will need some x-rays to rule out fractures or breaks.
