    Filing wrong tax forms
    Dear tax experts,
    I have a friend who accidentally files her taxes in the past 3 years using resident 1040 EZ form, although she is a F1 visa.
    Should she refile the taxes ? Do you think she would get more money back if she file 1040 NR instead?

    If she has filed wrong tax returns, she must file amended tax returns.
