Blower makes awful noise, difficult to access belt
The blower in my central h/ac is making awful noises. Kind of sounds like a belt? Not sure exactly of the cause, but probably has something to do with the filter not being changed. I can see dust and grime surrounding the blower, maybe some of this is affecting the rotation of the fan or motor? Unfortunately, the blower is set inside the unit in a way that makes it very difficult to check. Will I have to disconnect the blower and pull it out, then clean it and adjust the belt? How would I do that?
