    Durozone Dampers
I am designing a two zone heating system that has three dampers on zone 1 and one damper on zone 2. I am using a duroZone control board and durozone dampers and would like to know how many individual dampers can I connect to each zone. Will the zone control board power three dampers on a single zone, or may I only put one single damper on each zone. If I can only put one damper on a single zone, I will need to make the 1st zone into three zones that operate in parallel and are driven off a single thermostat. I am hoping that all three dampers need for the 1st zone can be driven of the 1st zone using the same terminals on the zone control board.

Stumped - never did this before.

My suggestion is to go to the factory web site. They have much more information on there product than we ever could. They also have a phone number so you can talk to one of there engineers.

They make a add on board for multi dampers. I have installed three on one circuit with no problems. Just be sure to give the 24v power on the control board its own transformer.

Several years ago I had a small addition added to my home. We decided to have the addition heated on a separate zone. The heating guy added 3 dampers to our existing venting system (1 to the new venting to the addition, the other 2 to close of the vents to the existing house). The first year...

Adjusting/locating dampers [ 1 Answers ]

I have been told that my A/C probably isn't big enough for my house, however, that there are dampers that can be manipulated to move air differently so that I can more of the cool air directed to the upstairs vs downstairs. There is literally a 20+ degree temperature distance in the two areas...

24v transformer to dampers keeps blowing [ 1 Answers ]

I've quickly blown two 110 to 24v 40va transformers. This transformer powers the electronic dampers from my furnace. I have 2 zones, 2 thermostats. I've also had problems blowing the 3amp fuse in my furnace itself when activating my zone 2 thermostat. All three of my damper motors test out OK,...
