    the probability of each occurring is:

    bed= 1/4
    meal= ?
    drink= 1/6
    t.v= 1/3

    a) what was the probabiliy of steven cooking a meal?

    b) which event is most likely to happen

    a) it says he will pull out one disk so that means that the sum of the probability of the events must equal 1

    b) the event that has the highest probability

    c) Look at the question like this: if 4 discs provide a probability of 1/6 for the event to happen, how many disks will provide a probability of 1/4 for the event to happen. Hint: if there are 24 disks, 4/24 = 1/6 chance of having a drink. x/24 = 1/4 chance of going to bed.
