    Title insurance / and abstact
    I; am buying a parcel of land from broome couny n.y. from an auction do I need to get title insrence or is it nessasary??

    What type of auction, if from a tax auction, I doubt you can buy title insurnce, but depending on how much the property costs and your investment is going to be. To find out that there is a IRS lien next year and you have to pay it, or lose your property without title insurance.
