It's a scam, this girl is not your girlfriend and has no interest in you, in fact this person might not even be a girl. This is a common scam, she only wants the money, once you send her the money for the passport she will say she needs money for a plane ticket... then more and more for other things. When you finally get mad and stop sending money she will stop signing into messenger, responsing to emails and change her phone number (if she even gave you one).

A passport in Ghana costs the equivalent of about 10 dollars and a visa to come to Canada or the US is around 130 dollars, anything over this and you should assume you are being scammed.

The passport can cost less than 100 dollars and can be gotten in under a month, they hve a rush passport for under 150 you can get in three days.

There is no min money she has to have in a bank account ( if she has not told you that, she will)

Look up the US embassy in Ghanna, and you will see over 1/2 of their web site are warnings about these dating scams.

I know you want this to be true, but I hope you have not sent her a lot of money, this is the way it works, normally 500 to 1000 to get the passport, then they are stopped at the airport because they don't have enough money so they need another 1000 in the bank, which they will give you back when they get here ( yea right) then guess what, someone steals their passport and more. They keep getting more and more money until you run out or get wise.
