Hotpoint is a General Electric product -- I called GENERAL ELECTRIC 1-800-626-2005

And talked to support -- I think it is time to put the ball back in your court --

Here is the deal -- they DO NOT have wiring diagrams online for me to access...

They also needed the serial number on your range -- then they will fax or mail a

Diagram to you -- they will not email them to you... Very friendly help!!

I suggest you tape wires so they won't short out and limp along until you are able to

Get the correct wiring -- THEN repair it correctly...

***** Can I plead with anyone who is has the urge to tamper with wiring in appliances

Ranges, washers, dryers, refrigerators --- DRAW A PICTURE AND CLEARLY MARK WIRES

LOCATIONS -- so when you tear it apart -- you know how to put it back together??

If you have a DIGITAL CAMERA take some really good pictures -- Save $$$$$ *****

Kenmore 95014 Range won't cool down after self-clean [ 3 Answers ]

I decided to run our Kenmore range through a self-cleaning cycle today, first time I've ever done that. The cycle started okay and the door lock engaged fine. After about 2 hours the display started flashing the error messages "E3-F3" and "E0-F3". I looked those up online and they both refer to...

John Deere - My dog ripped the wiring Out - Need Wiring Diagram or photos [ 2 Answers ]

I have a 3 year old L110 that ran fine until last week. I think my dog chased a chipmunk up under the hood and in trying to get to him ripped a bunch of wires out. I have spliced back together the obvious wires (color coded) but I have one black wire that I assume is a ground(?) and the two...

220v range wiring [ 1 Answers ]

I purchased a slide in range with cooktop. I am putting in where old cooktop was. I only have 3 wires, 1 balck, 1 white, 1 ground. The only range outlet I could find was a four prong. I thought black was hot and white was neutral and then of course you have the ground. I am finding out now I am...
