Ah Ive been sick since Thursday and Usually get Cold sores when I'm sick So far I've Got 3
I had 1 at First fell asleep and got 2 and the same thing happened again and now I have 3
I was woundering if anyone knows a type of Medication Or Home remedy that can help me out?
I've tried blistex and abreva
And have Heard of the following home remedys
Ear wax
Ice cubes
Nail polish remover
Tooth paste
I just don't know if these are actually safe things to do :\
Please help if you know anymore Ways to cure Cold sores Or if the above info
Is safe to do

I wouldn't try anything you put up there... as far as ear wax, tooth paste, nail polish remover, etc.

I have heard people try abreva, herpecin L, lysine, orajel, etc. and different medication works for different people. Has abreva not worked for you?

If you really want, your doctor can potentially prescribe you acyclovir for the sores.

PopcornSunshineKisses - Here is something we have used for several years ,it is some good stuff They have it at WALGREENS & WALMART< TRY it you'll like it. IT IS ( CALLED - CARMEX -FOR cold sores ) WE even use it for fever blisters & if I cut myself shaveing I put that on & in a couple day its gone . Thank you both I did go to the doctor Because besides cold sores I was sick and ended up with an 85$ bill for 2 Cold sore Treatments and Some Cold meds Im 16 so too me that's pricy The only reason I'm Consernded about getting Rid of these cold sores fast is because my sisters Wedding is Happening in 3 days So its like Ahhh and I'm the maid of Hounor and I have used abreva it didn't work Much

Popcornsunshinekises - ( try the carmex< it does work fast< you will need to put it on several times during the day because always are running your toung over your lips< it don't show or taste bad <but it works wonders!! Take L-lysine.. it's a vitamin. It will help fend off any future viruses as well.
