    Margin Interest
    Dear All,

    Once again I am in need for help. The question is very simple.. can I deduct the interest I pay on my margin brokerage account. How about if I don't itemize my deduction ?

    To claim that margin interest, you MUST itemize. Otherwise, you lose it.
