    Refund of interest income tax
I just received 1099-INT forms from my bank for two CD accounts and one savings account I have. The bank withheld federal tax for the interest accrued. I am considered to be a nonresident and my interst income is not taxable.

The back never asked me to complete the W-8 form when I opened my accounts and as a result withheld the taxes. How do I get a refund for the interest income tax withheld in error? I have already prepared, but not filed yet, the 1040NR-EZ. Do I have to complete another form?

    Please HELP!

May be, instead of 1040NR-EZ, do 1040NR, then add the tax withheld on line 59.
