Could I be pregnant? My hips have really been hurting me for the last 2 weeks or so. I am only 2 days late on my period. I have tested with the at home tests but they are negative. I understand one time I didn't use the first morning pee, so I will try again, and obliviously being only 2 days late isn't much. I am just wondering if I'm doing what most people do, worry and want to be pregnant so badly, my mind is causing me to feel the symptons? Now it's not a lie that my hips have really been hurting. Does anyone have any advice?

Its unlikely that your hips would be hurting as a result of pregnancy, this early in the pregnancy(if you are pregnant) typically your hips don't start hurting until the hormones are released to begin relaxing the muscles in your hips, to allow spreading for the birth of the baby. With my first, my hips didn't start hurting until I was in my last trimester, and with my second, when I was 6 months. I suppose its possible, but I would find it highly unlikely. Perhaps you slept on them wrong, perhaps you twisted a muscle, etc. if the pain worsens or doesn't disappear after a few days, you might want to consult your doctor.As far as the testing, wait until you are a week late, test again. If still negative, wait until you should receive your next period. If it doesn't come, test again. If it's still negative, its time to see your doctor. Keep in mind its not unusual to be late, or even completely miss a cycle now and then. However its possible that your hcg levels just aren't high enough to register on an hpt yet. Good luck

You are doing what most of us have all done. Since you are only two days late, if you are pregnant you probably won't get a positive quite yet. You need to wait until you are 7 days late. I didn't get a positive until 10 days late. Other than that, try not to stress. You could be wishfully thinking, but you could be pregnant. Just relax and hope for the best. I've also been having some discharge that is different. Like it happens randomly and it almost feels like your started your period, but it's just discharge and its clear and liquidity rather than more like . (sorry if that is too blunt). Anyway now I'm 4 days late... So like you said. CROSS YOUR FINGERS FOR ME! My husband and I have been trying and hopefully this is our lucky month :) I will keep you updated

You could also go in for a qualatative blood test at your local hospital. These usually aren't too much more money then an hpt (mine was $11, but that was a couple years ago) and they are more accurate, you can usually get your results within 4-24 hours (depending on how early you go in to get it, and how busy they are, so how much time they have to process the results) but even then, I would suggest waiting until you are at least one week late. You might want to try getting a qualatative blood test if you reach 14 days.

Well after 11 days, I started my period... I guess it was all in my head... :( My husband and I will continue to try!

Well, the symptoms of pregnancy closely mimic symptoms of so many other things, so some of them MAY not have been in your head, they just weren't pregnancy symptoms. (if you caught a bug, etc. although it may very well have just been wishful thinking) it can be pretty confusing sometimes, especially if you want to get pregnant so badly, and its easy to do. Wishing you better luck next time. Just remember to have fun with it. Don't stress it too much.

Although I am already done bleeding? So my period was only 2 days? Is that right? Was it a period or is there a chance I'm pregnant? I don't understand?

No no, sorry. I was just trying to add some comfort in saying that you may not have been imagining all the symptoms, as pregnancy symptoms closely mimic many other symptoms, so... I don't know, was just trying to say "dont feel bad, it happens to everyone at some point"... but yeah, I'm a bit brain dead lately, so it didn't come across right probably. Sorry
