What do I mean to him?
"i'm sorry, _____, i do care...but you're right, we shouldn't hook up, its not right...but you do mean more than that, so i just want you to know that"

My ex and I fell into a pattern of hooking up.. we've been broken up for quite some time, then started hooking up again. I pulled out of it because even though we're friends, I can't do casual relationships. I thought I could handle it, but I couldn't so I wrote him an email expressing my true feelings, and told him that I do still have feelings for him and that I don't want to be anyone's hook-up buddy. That I need more, that I deserve more, and that deep down, I know that.

What's posted above was his reply to my email.

Does he still have feelings for me too?

Seems as though he was just using you for a hook up because he let it go too easy. From the response it seems like he already has someone else and you really broke the ice for him since he did'nt know how to break it off

Only time will tell, start some good ol' No Contact, and stick with it, if he really does want you, he knows where you are.

First of all, he is really not interested in making his feelings clear to you. He wants you to hurt and wonder and wonder and hurt.

He does not want a relationship with you. He wants a hook-up buddy... then if he can not have that he will just be platonic friends.

https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/relati...63730.htmlthis, If this is the same guy, then its about time you left each other alone, and gone on to healthier relationships, with more than hook up buddies in mind. The whole thing is, I think he cares, given the history, but not enough for a long term thing though, or a real commitment. You both got what you wanted, and scratched the itch, so now move on.
