    Legal drug testing
    Can they do a drug test if your charge has nothing to do with drugs??

    I'm not in jail its for my brother he got a drug test done but his charges had nothing to do with drugs an he's on probation

    Being on probation gives them the right to do a drug test. It doesn't matter what his charges were.

    The probation office can and do test their probationers for drugs. It could be just a blanket policy of that particular office regardless of the original crime committed. Happens all the time.
