    Do you get hot water from any other faucets in the house? If not, you most likely have a problem with your hot water heater - if it's gas fired, check to make sure the thermostat is properly set and the pilot is working.

    If just your kitchen sink lacks hot water like your question states then I think you have a plugged cartridge or valve on the hot side. Is this a single or double handles faucet, singles take us to pulling the cartridge but no use giving both sets of diredtions until you tell me about your handle. Back to you
