    Installing corner shower in basement.
    Hi, I'm installing a corner shower in my basement and I need to know the centerline measurements to the finished wall. Are measurements standard or do I need to pick out the stall first? The drains are already in, I'll be putting up the walls.

    Stall sizes can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.

    A couple of things for you to consider before purchasing;

    If you're having it inspected, most Plumbing Codes now specify a minimum base footprint, the usual rule of thumb is that you must be able to drop a 36" circle inside of the usable portion of the base, which means you cannot count the threshold/curb.

    Also, measure very carefully to be sure you can get the stall inside of the house and through the necessary doorways -- If it's too big, then you may need to look at two and three piece units.

    Thanks Growler, I was hoping that they were standard dimensions though. Off to Home Depot for me then. It'll definitely be a multi-piece unit.
