    Anyone recognise this group?
There was a group called "The Earthtones". I believe they originated from Calgary, AB. and I think the band had 4 black members. They did awesome harmony, and sang a lot of aucapella, but some of it was put to music also. One song I recall had the word "daydream" in it, (something like... just sit and daydream) and I think that was part of the title of the song. I listened to them in the '90's (or even late 80's) Kind of an R&B sound to them. I would love to get a hold of one of their albums. I had one but someone stole it and no one I talk to knows who this is. Has anyone heard of this group?

Have a look at this page, allmusic ((( To Be Continued > Buy )))

Can't find much, even looking for illegal downloads! (Not that I do that, but I know a man who does)

Thanks for the page info. I wish I could see the list of songs on the cd so I could make sure it's got the song I'm looking for (unless I missed something on the site) I thought of another song that they sang and I'm pretty sure it was called "Move this Night" (I know a man who sometimes does the illegal downloads too... but he couldn't find it either)

Don't know if you managed to navigate your way to this but here's a link to the main entry for the earthtones. allmusic ((( Earthtones > Biography )))
Clicking on the members doesn't give much but Scott Henderson appears to have stayed on Vancouver Island for a significant amount of time. A quick trawl through online telephone directories may give you a number where you might get hold of him and get the number of the record label. Good Luck (Alternatively for a few dollars it may pay to just by the album)
