    Satellite hook-up
    I would like to hook up a satellite connection to my Panasonic DMREH50 then cable to my TV - need some help.:confused:

    What is a Panasonic DMREH50? Is it an AVR or a TV?

    Are you saying, that you have two forms of input to your TV. One Satellite and the Other Cable"

    How many input ports do you have on your TV?

    Could you, please flesh out what's coming into the house and what you want to attach it to?

    I currently have cable service and would like to get satellite service.

    I have a Panasonic DMRE50 DVR, it has a 100 gig internal hard disk that can record a broadcast, which can be dumped to a removable disk, to be played later or played directly to the TV from the HDD.

    The DMRE50 can record to DVD-R/DVD+R disk. The unit also has an input SD slot to review pictures previously recorded to a SD card or it can record the contents of the SD card to a DVD-R/DVD+R or dumped to the HDD.

    The unit has Cable, S-Video, Component, and Optical capabilities.

    I currently have a standard broadcast CRT television but will be buying a Samsung LNT3253H LCD TV.
