I want to remove ceramic baseboard tiles and replace with wood... the glue behind the tile is my concern as it may interfere base board to lay tight to wall...

Scrap or chisel the glue off first. Might damage the wall but your going to be covering it up with the new baseboard.

Yep, nearly all of the old adhesive nust come off, primarily top and bottom edge of the new baseboard. Where is this in your home?

I think I typed this once before but I don't think it ever got posted. They make a medical version of that FEIN. Picture those blades going through your knee or hip, yeow. For $7000 per unit they won't use them on tile but they need to survive an auto clav.

When I bought it, I was told that these sorts of saws are used to cut off casts. Imagine being 5 years old like I was and someone holding a saw like thing to the cast on your arm.

How was I supposed to know it didn't rotate?

Yep, it took four hands to operate that saw. One to hold the saw and one for the crank. The other two hands were to hold the soldier.

This is great... this post went from removing baseboard to removing legs.
Hey michael, just use some taller baseboard this will cover up the damaged sheetrock, as for removing it just use a small flat bar and hammer. Don't worry too much about the drywall it want affect the base like you think.

Now! Back to dismemberment with Fein Tools... And Ballengerb1 thanks for the visual on the cutting the knee and hip, ill never look at my jamb saw the same again. Lol
