    Government owed debt
    I am making payments on an income tax debt can they still garnish my wages?

    If there a written repayment plan in place. If here is a written agreement, and you are up to date with it, they should not,

    Hello liss:

    The Padre is right, of course. But, in answer to your specific question, they certainly CAN. They're nothing but a glorified collection agency. DON'T trust 'em.
