    Re-wire an antique 8 arm chandelier
    I'm trying to re-wire an antique 8 arm chandelier. Can anyone provide a wiring diagram?

    Nope, but if you use zip cord, the ribbed part of the cord goes to neutral or white.
    All the centers of the light sockets go to hot or black.
    All the screw base sides go to white or neutral.
    You can bring them all together at the top of the lamp and use a white and black pigtail for the final connection, A stranded green pigtail can be used for ground.


    Teflon insulated wire would be expensive and has thin insulation.
    Zip cord is what standard lamps are wired with.
