    Idding on a painting job
I just started a small painting company in baltimore Maryland. I usually charge $200 a day labor but if the customer wants a price on the job minus paint, caulk, tape, sleeves how should I bid it?

Bid by the square foot. Handymen in my area charge 50 to 75 cents s/f and pros about twice that amount. I do not pay any sub a daily labor rate because they may all work at different speeds.
