    State tax filing
We live in Nebraska and are retired. My retirement comes from the CA state teachers
Retirement system , and my husbands comes from Lockheed. On our 1099-R forms
Mine state is CA and his is NE. When we file our state taxes do we have to file in both states or just NE. I also got a W-2 from my school district for $305.
    Thank you

If you moved during the year, then you may need to file for both states as part year residents. If the W-2 was from California, then you likely need to file there regardless of whether you moved. Otherwise, you just file in Nebraska.
