I am not asking about the division of church and State. That is the separation of religion and government. Religion is a belief system.

Spirituality is something grasped by everyone, whether they are aware of it or not.
Obviously, I hope, no belief system is being questioned at all. Your opinion on spirituality and its possible 'marriage' with politics is the question.

My question(s) is, can spirituality be an inherent part of politics. Is the belief that it is not, or cannot be, the real reason that Jesus was crucified? What do you think?

I'd say that the real reason was that people felt threatened and responded from a position of authority to protect their own interests. People will have their beliefs, and have their governments, politics, or whatever. Even in the religious realms, there are plenty of politics that exist.
