    Unofficial Foreclosure
We are renters. We received two notifications from two different companies that help homeowners save their houses from foreclosure. Although we have not received an official notification I would like to know how can I find out if the property is in fact in the process of being foreclosed upon and if it is does that make the lease we signed two months ago null and void?

Check with the county clerk to see if foreclosure proceedings have started. Once the foreclosure is completed, your lease will be terminated.
