If an ex boyfriend is going to everyone he see’s talking to even people he doesn’t even know and telling them that I am really crazy that I am out of my mind and not to trust me to be careful. And if it started to affect my job because I am a nanny on the same base that he works at.. Can I sue him for slander… the things he said started to get to some of the moms of the kids that my kids would play with and in turn they didn’t really want there kids to play with my kids. It has been over 9mths and he is still going around saying I’m crazy and all I have is my reputation and that is how I get my jobs. I quit that job before it got back to the parents who also worked on base. I didn’t want to get fired. That would look bad…. It looks real bad when a nanny gets fired.

I would go to an Attorney, have the Attorney write a "cease and desist" letter and if he does not, then you're going to have to sue him.

This is one of the very few times people have posted when they actually have been harmed - and I can see that parents you work for err on the side of caution.

Isn't there some sort of military attorney set up that could help you by writing the letter?
