Finding 401K and the using the GI Bill
I'm an American who worked in the States up until 1996 when I migrated to Australia.
I was in the Marine Corps and worked other civilian jobs where 401k was deducted.
I also contributed to the GI Bill.
My question is, how can I find and maybe consolidate those 401K funds and can I take advantage of the GI Bill or maybe transfer it to one of my kids to study there in the US?

As to the 401K, you can contact your prior employers and get distributions rolled over into an IRA. You can also try contacting the IRS, they should have a record of any retiremetn plans you are a participant in.
