    Lease effective date
    I signed a new lease two months ago in November. The lease start date is fe 1, 2008. My husband has received a new job out of state. Since the new lease does not start until feb 1,2008 will I be able to got out of it?

    Probably not without penalty; look under the paragraph entitled, "Breach".

    No, it is a signed contract, you may go talk to them, and if you have been a good tenant, and they are nice people ( not a large corporaton) they may let you just because they are nice. But you are bound by the rules of the lease
