    Deducting taxes on new car purchase
    Can I deduct the taxes on a new car I purchased in 2007 in the state of Florida?

    If you itemize as a U.S. citizen or resident alien, you can add the sales tax for the car to the sales tax computation done in lieu of the state income tax deduction (Florida has NO state income tax).
