So the guy I "am/was" dating says he wants to go on a break".. and he has been hanging out with his ex. She lied in the past and I believe she is lieing now. She told me they her and my guy are back together. Which i do not believe one bit, but yet at the same time I do because I am vunerable right now. I really like this guy. I dont know what he means by we need a "break". Some people consider breaks all diffrent.. I really just want to be with him and when we started dating right away his ex bothered us she called my cellphone and horrassed me! and lied to me out the . I told her to leave me and him alone and she never did so i believe he is bothered by this all and doesn't know what he wants. How long should i let this "break" last? I do not want to wait for a guy forever...

Obviously what she says isn't worth a damn. But his actions are. He broke it off, he went back to his ex, that's all on his side. Chasing after this guy would be a bad idea.

Some people like playing games and its apparent you are part of it and your boyfriend is the prize.

If you are willing to play this game, go for it. But take note that the guy dumped you. "Break" is not the same as "space". Your guy will be playing along with his ex games and when he's tired of it, he'll come back to you. How does that sound?
