    Sewer smell/ addition built on
    I have a strong smell coming from my bathroom which is an addition built on. Smells like sewer gases. Have checked traps and made sure pipes weren't backed up.. everything looked OK. Please help smell makes sick. o-yeah can the gases be harmful?:

    Froggy81 - Are you on city sewer or on a septic tank, It sounds like they forgot to vent the new or havwe it done improper . Is there water in all of the trapes. In tub drain, sink drain .water in bottom of comode,all the time except durning flush? Pleasde answers these questions and we will go from there ;;; good day & GOD BLESS. ::::: F.B.E.
